The BMW Riders of Western Colorado are excited to announce the first ever Western States Bonanza!  This is a 48 hour rally which starts and finishes in Grand Junction, Colorado.  30 days prior to the start of the rally, riders will be sent, via US Postal Service, a list of bonuses and the complete rally rules.  These bonuses will be located in the western half of the United States, and the Western Provinces of Canada. 

Each bonus will have a point value assigned to it.  The idea is simple; riders can ride to any bonus or combination of bonuses, perform a simple task, (like take a photo or get a receipt), and return to the finish location in the time allowed.  The rider with the greatest point total will be the winner! 

This event is designed to be fun and to introduce riders to the world of endurance rallies.  The plaques awarded to the top finishers will be treasured, but certainly will not be worth going to elaborate methods to bend the rules or, in simple terms, cheat.  Any rider determined to have done so will be disqualified from the event and his or her name will be smeared throughout the endurance riding community. 

 Your $75.00 entry fee, ($125.00 for two-up couples), will get you coffee, snacks and water at the start, the fun of riding all over the western United States & Canada, a fantastic tee shirt, and a wonderful meal at the finish. 

The Bonanza will start and finish at Grand Junction Harley Davidson, which is also the new BMW shop for Grand Junction, located at 2747 Crossroads Blvd, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
